Used the Mimi's German Apple Cake recipe as a base for my Apple Pear Walnut cake tonight.
I just purchased the Rustic Fruit Desserts book and love it. Perfect for homestead baking.
The apples, pears, and walnuts were really for a deep dish winter pie, but I didn't have any cranberries. But, this will do in a pinch.
