Quality Control...

is what I was thinking about today as I was out in the garden pruning the grapevines.

The weather is lovely. At least in this corner of the United States.

There were shouts and protests on the traditional "Groundhogs Day" celebration.

Why?

There is no plan to make the little guy into a hat. I have to say, "as least he has a job." Many folks around the U.S. could be so lucky.

So, Phil gave it a good try, at least for the East coast...but the West coast...where's the quality control? Our last frost date is a few months away.

With that said, at least I made progress today in the garden. I managed to prune back those grapevines to look fabulous and I gave myself a blister to boot!
