I picked this book up at the library yesterday. It is well worth a purchase, which I took care of this morning on Amazon.com.This revised edition is well written, easy for reference, and has great photos. The topics are written in short, precise paragraphs so you do not fall asleep as you try to get to the meat of it.
On the seed side:
I trudged out to the garden to bring in my box of seeds. Taking a quick look, I do not think I will need much this year, but if I do, I'll be purchasing them from Freedom Seeds.
Michelle, shall we post seeds for trade, with one another and our blog followers? Not full packets for trade, but 5-10 seeds so we all can get a good variety for the garden? Plus, it would only be the price of a stamp, .44cents.
I also thought I'd post some plan-ahead meals that include the shopping list so we all have more time to garden and knit or weave.
Another excellent "Mom and Pop" seed company, especially if you live in the Pacific Northwest is Territorial Seed Company.
